In 2009, two friends, one from healthcare, one from the technology sector, began to discuss new business opportunities. They quickly concurred that there must be a way to curb Medicare fraud without costly audits and investigations. Together, and with the help of another friend from the software industry, they developed an idea that is both simple and effective.

After a proof of concept was developed, another colleague was brought in to lead the programming of the software portion of the solution. The four formed MDS Software, Inc.

Currently, MDS has a working prototype of their solution (See Products and Services) and is generating a great deal of interest from both investors and the insurance industry.

By August, 2010, MDS will be ready to start Phase I trials of their CheckID^® System.
